A clear sourcing request helps the Matreed team understand the product you need and review options against specific information. When the details are organized from the start, fewer follow-up questions are needed and it becomes easier to compare your request with what a supplier offers. Use the following steps to prepare one complete message.
Start with product images and a description
Attach a clear image of the product, adding more images when its shape, components, or use require extra detail. Do not rely on images alone. State the product name, size, material, color, model or intended function, and any specification that must not change. If you have a sample or previous reference, explain which parts must match and where a suitable alternative would be acceptable. The aim is to distinguish the required product from similar-looking products that may serve a different purpose.
State the wholesale quantity precisely
Matreed handles wholesale orders, so give the required quantity for each product, size, or color. If the request includes several items, place each item on a separate line and link it to its images and specifications. Avoid broad phrases such as “a large quantity”; a stated quantity makes research and comparison more precise. If the quantity is flexible, give your target and the range you could accept instead of leaving it undefined.
Explain the packaging and branding
If you need custom packaging, describe the required package shape, color, type, and the information that should appear on it. Send a clear logo file, identify the language for the text, and state whether the logo or information belongs on the packaging or the product itself. Identify the origin and destination
